Dr. Charlotte Pion holds a Ph.D. in Biology and a postdoctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Science. Her scientific and clinical background has led her to develop deep expertise in the study of the central nervous system, brain plasticity, and post-injury functional recovery. She currently serves as Director of Research at NeuroTeQ, the clinical research and innovation unit of Neuro-Concept, and is an associate professor at Université de Montréal.
Her areas of expertise include brain plasticity, motor control, postural balance, and functional neurological disorders—a condition still often misunderstood, at the intersection of neurology, psychology, and rehabilitation.
Within Neuro-Concept and NeuroTeQ, Dr. Pion plays a central role in the development of applied clinical research projects, the scientific validation of rehabilitation technologies, and the translation of research into clinical practice. As a dedicated clinician-researcher and passionate educator, she actively contributes to the advancement of evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary training.
