Dr. Andrei Bursuc is a physiatrist specializing in neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation, recognized for his expertise in spasticity management. A graduate of Montreal University’s medical program, he completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation before pursuing a Master’s degree in experimental medicine at McGill University, where he focuses on the management of post-polio syndrome and sleep-related respiratory disorders.
Dr. Bursuc has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of spasticity, working with diverse populations, including individuals with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and strokes. At the forefront of modern spasticity management techniques, he employs innovative approaches such as botulinum toxin injections and cryoneurolysis to enhance his patients’ quality of life.
